KENNEDY, author of The Kennedy Chronicles: The Golden Age of MTV Through Rose-Colored Glasses, talked to Brian about her long, flourishing career, her new book, and the evolution of MTV.  “It became more about the long-form programming,” Kennedy said about MTV, “It’s really addictive because if you put some reality shows on that people want to watch, that’s all you want.  It was like heroin to MTV.” Kennedy also dished about the newest MTV reality show, which follows a group of virgins losing their virginity.
