[AUDIO] @RepPeteKing on @SenRandPaul: I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT HE’S TALKING ABOUT!
REP. PETER KING (R-NY), member of the Homeland Security Committee and Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, sounded off about Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz calling out King and Gov. Chris Christie for asking for aid after Hurricane Sandy, claiming it is a bigger security risk than anything from the NSA program. “Brian, that is a big lie,” King exclaimed, “And the story about money going to Alaska and money going to whatever they were coming up with is untrue.”
King continued to take swings at Rand Paul’s accusations: “I don’t understand what he’s talking about, I don’t see the connection at all. Every dollar is justified. it’s not a hand out, it’s money that local governments have always… been entitled to. And that has nothing to do with an NSA program,” King explained.
