JUDGE MICHAEL MCCONNELL talked to Brian about why President Obama reminds him of King James II.  “One of the reasons for our American Revolution was dissatisfaction with having a king who asserted the authority to disregard statutes passed by parliament,” McConnell explained, “The President has a… constitutional duty to enforce laws that are passed by congress.“  He went onto cite the No Child Left Behind Act as an example of the administration waiving statutory requirements.

STEVE EMERSON, Executive Director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, exclaimed his happiness that the Muslim Brotherhood is out of power in Egypt.  “No Islamic regime ever took power has ever given up power peacefully,” Emerson said.  He went on to say that he does not think the Muslim Brotherhood will ever recognize a new regime or the fact that Morsi was ousted.

JUDITH MILLER, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and investigative reporter, weighed in on why the military controlling Egypt is good. “I think it’s an amazing story, and I’m really pleased for the Egyptians,” Miller said.  She also said that it is “enormously important” that the administration is giving the transition in Egypt legitimization by not calling it a military coup.

FOX News Anchor GREGG JARRETT talked to Brian about the George Zimmerman trial.  He said that the people who consider race to be a primary factor in Trayvon’s death should be happy with any sort of conviction, especially manslaughter. “Manslaughter results in almost the same amount of time as second degree murder when you add in all the additional aggravating factors,” Jarrett explained.
