DWIGHT “DOC” GOODEN, former All-Star MLB pitcher for the New York Mets, talked to Brian about his new memoir, Doc: A Memoir, and the ups and downs he has experienced throughout his life. Gooden said his father played a critical role in the start of his baseball career. “My dad played a big role… It was literally his dream at the beginning and it became my dream. He was a huge baseball fan,” explained Gooden.
