BRIAN’S THOUGHTS

Brian is keeping up with the unraveling IRS scandal, and is adamant in thinking that Holder should step down. “Try and keep up with me.  is lying to a third judge in order to get material – information – from James Rosen, which he is telling NBC is a lie… How are you supposed to be this country’s top cop, the legal eagle, when you… are lying in order to acquire a subpoena to look secretly into James Rosen’s background?

HOUR ONE

Brian’s co-host on FOX & Friends, Steve Doocy, weighed in on the need for our country’s tax code to change, which Brian and Steve disagreed on: “You don’t think that anyone should address the tax reform.  Here’s the thing: Never let a good scandal fall by the waist side,” Doocy said.  “Great philosopher,” Brian responded!

HOUR TWO

FOX News Sunday host Chris Wallace talked to Brian about the Wall Street Journal’s depiction of the IRS scandal, which is similar to the depiction of Chairman Issa.  Wallace agrees with the Wall Street Journal’s analysis: “Does it make sense that civil service workers in an IRS branch in Cincinnati, Ohio are going to sit there and say ‘hey let’s carry out a targeting – a war – against the tea party’? It just doesn’t make sense that they would do that.  Or, if they did do it, that somebody higher up, if they were opposed to it, would have very early on said, ‘No! Knock it off! Stop it, what are you nuts?!’”

MEREDITH-WHITNEYTHE TALE OF TWO ECONOMIESMeredith Whitney, author of Fate of the States: the New Geography of American Prosperity, explained to Brian why she thinks there is a “tale of two economies” in the country. Whitney explained that the strong are getting stronger and the weak are getting weaker throughout America.
