[VIDEO]: Hank Steinberg On New Novel, “Out of Range”
Hank Steinberg, creator of the hit TV series Without a Trace, stopped by to talk about his new novel, Out of Range. Steinberg said that he got the idea for the novel when his wife called him from her car needing directions one night. He explained that she told him she was going to pull over on the side of the freeway and call him back in five minutes once she pulled the car over. “My ‘Without a Trace,’ paranoid, brain started kicking in, and then I started thinking to myself, ‘What happens if she doesn’t call back?’” He said that although his wife called back a minute later, the idea stuck with him and he went from there with the novel.
