“This is not a couple of college kids down the street,” said Wayne Simmons, former CIA Analyst, “There is guidance and there is direction and there is professionalism.” He went onto explain that although the bomb did not necessarily look sophisticated, that means nothing. “We know how to make that device look any way we want it to look. So when people say that it’s not a sophisticated device, that’s because… someone didn’t want it to look sophisticated.”
