BRIAN'S OPENING THOUGHTS
"Does anyone really know what's going on over there?!" Brian doubts the new news that North Korea has the intelligence and sophistication to put a nuclear warhead on one of their ballistic missiles, and looks into all the latest details.
Dan Senor, co-founder of Foreign Policy Initiative and author of Start-Up Nation, talked to Brian about the situation in North Korea. Senor said he thinks we need to take a step back and try to determine what Kim Jong-un's motivation is. "We... don't have a clear picture," Senor said.
Robert Kaplan, Harvard Business School Professor and author of What You're Really Meant to Do: A Road Map for Reaching Your Unique Potential, explained to Brian that everyone needs to figure out what they're good at and what they're not good at. "This book is about process... This book lays out a process for you to get in shape," Kaplan said.
He went on to explain that when he sits down with individuals to help them lay out their process, they often cannot say what they are bad at. "We're all trained... to give our success story. [We] all, whether we know it or not, like to give a sales pitch," he said.
Mark Geragos and Pat Harris, authors of Mistrial: An Inside Look at How the Criminal Justice System Works... and Sometimes Doesn't, talked to Brian about the ugly reality of the country's courts system and why the criminal justice system is falling apart. "We now have things that the founding fathers couldn't possibly have foreseen; Google, for example," Harris explained.
The duo also talked about the popular cases they have handled, including the infamous Chris Brown and Rihanna dispute. "When I first met him... He wanted to make amends immediately. He did not want to fight the case," Geragos said about Brown. Harris added, "Talk to the people he has actually done community service with - the firefighters, the police officers in Richmond. They love him."
After criticizing Brian for inviting him to a luncheon on a day he will be unavailable, FOX News' Digital Politics Editor and host of the online show Power Play, Chris Stirewalt, weighed in on Harry Reid blowing off the budget President Obama submitted. Later, the two talked about gun control legislation and why it does nothing to help the grieving family members of the Newtown tragedy.
FOX & Friends Weekend co-host Alisyn Camerota talked to Brian about the tension in North Korea. The dynamic duo also talked about gun control legislation, and how the grieving Newtown families have been affected by the proposed legislation.
