Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) weighed in on why he thinks the U.S. should be more deeply involved in Syria. He explained that the number of radical Islamists has grown tremendously in Iraq, and are now entering Syria. If the U.S. wants to regain the center of influence in this area, we need to take a leadership role and stop being indecisive. "[A] lack of decision-making is the most dangerous decision," Rogers said. By doing this, we will be in a better position to control chemical weapon stockpiles. "Small and smart now saves us big and ugly later," he said.
