KILMEADE KONDENSED

Brian’s Opening Thoughts

Will the new news about Libya move the needle a little bit? Brian thinks so! The e-mails that have been obtained, which show the Obama Administration knowing about the Benghazi attacks a mere two hours after they occurred have Brian livid.  With all the different stories floating around, he thinks that Mitt Romney was right in not bringing this up during Monday’s debate.

Hour One

Angela McGlowan weighs in on the e-mails that have been obtained regarding the Obama Administration knowing about the attacks in Benghazi.  McGlowan is not happy that the American people have been lied to in thinking that the Benghazi attacks stemmed from a video.  She also believes Romney will win the election with the push he got from the debates.

Jayne Larson started out as a chauffeur to a Saudi Arabian princess, and is now the author of “Driving the Saudis.” Jayne tells Brian what it was like to chauffeur a Saudi Arabian princess through Los Angeles for over ten thousand miles in the course of seven weeks, and how she was treated differently because of her gender.

Brian asks Senator Rob Portman if he was involved in the strategy of Mitt Romney not engaging in the Middle East issues during Monday’s debate.  Portman also tells Brian that the first debate was his favorite, because Romney was able to be himself and tell the American people who he really is, rather than hearing about him in an attack ad.

Hour Two

Ed Rollins, former Senior Adviser to Ronald Reagan, gives Brian his take on Monday’s Presidential Debate.  Rollins also weighs in on the e-mails that have been released. He says that this has been a deliberate cover-up, and that the Obama administration made a misdirect argument because the Libyan government had not protected them, and also because Obama wanted to pretend that there was no more terrorism.

Steve Moore, who is on the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board, tells Brian that Americans are not spending because they are still unsure of the direction of our economy, which instills a “fear factor” within individuals.  Moore also tells Brian what he thought about Obama saying that the sequester “will not happen” during Monday’s debate.

Hour Three

Bill Hemmer and Martha MacCallum join Brian in analyzing the Presidential Debate.  MacCallum said she would have liked to hear more about Libya and talk about the growth of Al Qaeda.  Hemmer talks about how the level of enthusiasm for Mitt Romney is 25 points higher than it was in 2008 for John McCain, and how it translates to the polls.
