The Pet In Your Bed Could Be Harmful to Your Health?
I’ve never really slept routinely with an animal in the bed with me. Maybe a dog at the foot of the bed once in a while.
We had cats once and they would curl up next to us until they got bored, which for cats is like 45 seconds.
But I am a fan of a good night’s sleep and feel that there’s a reason they make pet beds and all out habitats!
Well, a new study seems a little alarming.
But veterinary scientists warn that we can contract all kinds of stuff from our beloved house pets.
Some of the scarier stories involve a 9-year-old child who got the PLAGUE from sleeping with his flea infested feline friend. OUCH!!
You can even catch stuff from your pet licking you. SLURP. Grab the sanitizing gel!!
Children and those who have immunity difficulties are most affected.
But hey, look at the bright side.
Pets can lower our blood pressure, decrease our stress levels, and expose us to exercise and the great outdoors.
I’d still rather own pets than not. I can’t imagine life without them.
But I think starting tonight, the rats are back to their Kleenex box and shredded paper.
Just kidding. You don’t think I really sleep with rats, do you?
