A Post Valentine’s Day Surprise For Your Sweetie…Or Yourself!

As I have mentioned extensively on my radio show, my wife and I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. We think it’s totally overrated and too much pressure is put on people.

Not to offend those who DO, but we are sweet to each other all the time. Flowers, especially roses, are not a rare sight to my wife. We constantly surprise each other with little “just because” moments, small tokens, or even special home cooked dinners.

Speaking of dinners, I have an idea for you for a post Valentine’s Day surprise. A little something that will show that your heart beats wildly for that special someone even past the days that the greeting card stores pressure us to.

I was at the grocery store the other day and found some cool HEART SHAPED ravioli!! No, they aren’t cheesy, even though some are red.

Well, wait…they ARE CHEESE, come to think of it. 4 cheese. Haven’t tried them yet but thinking of making them tonight for my wife and I to enjoy.

Cost? Something like 6 bucks or so. And it could probably feed 4.

See? You don’t have to spend a ton to have a nice, thoughtful meal.

And you don’t have to do it just because everyone says you are SUPPOSED to.

Sometimes it’s nice to do it just because…just because!

And if you currently don’t HAVE a sweetie?

Hey, there’s nothing wrong with having a plate of 4 cheese hearts for yourself.

Cheers!
