Political Correctness Is Killing Us

From the first broadcasts I ever did, I have been firm in my belief that political correctness is not just idiotic on its face.

It is also potentially deadly.

That’s right–political correctness can, and IS, killing us.

Most recent case in point?

Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan.

We are finding out NOW that military doctors were quite worried about this man’s stability. They feared he was quite possibly psychotic.

Some even feared he was capable of doing exactly what he did last week in Texas–killing fellow soldiers.

One official even said, “Everybody felt that if you were deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, you would not want Nidal Hasan in your foxhole.

What the HECK?!?!

Talk about sitting on your concerns. Concerns that, if shared with the proper authorities, could very well have PREVENTED the Fort Hood massacre.

He was almost booted out of the program he was in, but it would have been “cumbersome and lengthy” a task.

Really? How does that task compare with informing the families of those butchered by Hasan?

Another reason for the hushed lips?

Well, that goes back to my theory that political correctness is killing us.

You see, many did not want to say anything out of the fear of being labeled a Muslim hater, a basher of Islam…a bigot.

This reminds me of the story of the airport official who felt BAD VIBES when he looked the lead hijacker of 9-11-2001 in the eyes and felt downright suspicious and scared. But he also did nothing. His inactions certainly facilitated the tragic events of that ill fated day.

As did the inactions of these military doctors and other officials facilitate the needless bloodshed and death of last week, in my opinion.

How can you fear a soldier will kill fellow soldiers and DO NOTHING?!?!

Political correctness is killing us.

What else will it take to convince you?
