Congress Continues to Probe Russia-related Issues

Congress is still probing Russia-related election issues, but one key lawmaker says at this point, there’s no evidence to support allegations against the Trump campaign.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

House Intelligence Committee chairman Republican Devin Nunes is warning against McCarthy-style investigations that haul American citizens to testify before Congress:

(Nunes) “That’s what I’m concerned about here, that we don’t go on some witch hunt against American citizens just because they appear in a press story somewhere.

Nunes says leaks about alleged communications between Trump campaign aides and Russian government officials will be looked into as part of a wider probe surrounding Russian interference in the election.

Still, Nunes says as of right now, he’s seen no evidence suggesting aides to President Trump were in contact with Russian agents.
