VP-elect Pence: ‘So Disappointed’ by Congressman Lewis Statement on Mr. Trump
The incoming Trump administration is upset over comments made by Georgia Congressman John Lewis.

Vice President-elect Mike Pence says he hopes Georgia Congressman John Lewis will reconsider his statement that he doesn’t see Mr. Trump as a legitimate president:
(Vice President-elect Pence) ”I respect the role that he’s played in the civil rights movement and the voting rights movement and that’s why I was just so disappointed.”
The civil rights icon upset the President-elect, who lashed out on Twitter, saying Lewis should take care of his own district in Georgia. Congressman Lewis and nearly 30 other Democratic House lawmakers are planning to skip the swearing-in ceremony.
