Report: Kevin Patrick Dawes, American Captured in Syria, Released
An American held captive in Syria has been freed.

A 33-year-old photographer kidnapped in Syria in 2012 has been released, according to officials speaking with the Associated Press.
Kevin Patrick Dawes was taken after crossing into Syria from Turkey. Syrian authorities have freed him.
A State Department spokesman says the U.S. is working with Czech officials to find out more about other U.S. citizens missing in Syria, including journalist Austin Tice.
