South Carolina Governor Prepares for More Floods

South Carolina continues to stay as dry as possible in the midst of horrendous weather.

FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:

The rain has stopped falling on South Carolina, but that doesn’t mean the catastrophe is over.

(Haley) “We are still in prayer mode. We are still in the fact that the next 36 to 48 hours is going to be volatile.”

Governor Nikki Haley says the water will need to go somewhere and that will cause more flooding with additional stress on dams and other infrastructure. They’re planning for it.

(Haley) “That we are doing everything ahead. We have pre-positioned already, in the low country, everything that we need to have for when that water flows.”

Emergency officials still want people stay off roadways and at home.
