“Piece by Piece” is the seventh studio album by Kelly Clarkson. This is the follow-up to her first Christmas album, “Wrapped in Red,” and for the new mom — it is her first studio album containing all “original” material, since “Stronger” was released in 2011. Its lead single from the album”Heartbeat Song,” already became a top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

And, Frankie Ballard took time out of his “Anything Goes” tour with Florida Georgia Line and Thomas Rhett to talk to FOX about his influences.

(Ballard) “I put a ton of blues and rock n’roll. Bob Seger, John Mellencamp and lots of old school country music.”

Ballard says his latest, “Young and Crazy” is the last single from the “Sunshine & Whiskey” album.

(Ballard) “Florida Georgia Line is going over to Europe for about a month, so we’re going to jump into the studio and start recording very soon.”
