A bus crashed early Thursday morning in Arizona after a passenger allegedly attacked the driver.

FOX News Radio’s Dave Anthony reports:

It got crazy on a Greyhound bus from LA to Dallas. At around 2 a.m., a passenger attacked the driver:

(Driver) “He said ‘I’m gonna flip this bus’.”

The driver being pummeled, yelled for help. Other passengers jumped in:

(Driver) “Everybody was trying to get him off.”

Then the bus crashed on Interstate-10 in Arizona:

(Passenger) “We were not on the road anymore. I thought we were all gonna die.”

(Passenger) “Mentally I’m a little freaked out, but I’ll, I’ll live.”

24 passengers were hurt, but none of the injuries are considered life threatening. The accused attacker, who was reportedly hallucinating, ran off into the desert but came back and was arrested on endangerment and assault charges.
