Iranians Watching U.S. Elections Closely

Iran dominated the foreign policy debate on Monday night.  But just how much attention are our elections getting inside that country?

FOX News Radio’s Emily Wither has the story from our Middle East bureau:

Locals in Iran say they’ve been keeping an eye on the elections, partly because they’re curious to find out if whoever is picked will refrain from any military strike against them.

(Student) “In Iran, most of the people just think about the Americans and they are afraid of war, but Iranians just peaceful people.”

This student in the capital, Tehran, says that Romney is just thinking about war and Obama is the democratic guy.  Another resident in the capital says she’s disappointed about the communication between the two countries, saying friendship has been replaced with a fist and it’ll take time to fix it.
