Scientists: Earth Is At a “Tipping Point”

A group of scientists from all over the world agree, the Earth is at what they call a “tipping point” due to human activity. They also say the path to a brighter future may be one of the key factors in November’s Presidential election.

FOX News Radio’s Jessica Rosenthal reports:

Twenty-two researchers, led by U.C.-Berkeley biologist Tony Barnosky, agree: Climate change, destruction of the Earth’s surface and population growth are leading us to a tipping point. To see what happens after that point, they looked to other dramatic shifts, like the end of the last Glacial Age.

(Barnosky) “We saw about 50% of the large-bodied mammals disappear off the face of the Earth.”

He says key to stopping disaster is to reduce the amount of natural resources we use by reducing the number of people we have.

(Barnosky) “As economic prosperity increases, overall birth rates tend to go down for whatever reason. So, one of the ways out of this is economic prosperity.”

WHAT?! A group of scientists led by a biologist at the absurdly liberally biased UC Berkley think global warm…. oh wait the earth is getting cooler every year its now climate change… and what the heck does biology have to do with how the earth can take care of itself? Wouldnt a geologist be better suited for that? Clearly a liberally biased political ploy.

Everywhere you look there is waste that could be re-used, salvaged, or repaired. I know there are restaurants that throw away meat, poultry, and dairy products. It is put in trash compactors or garbage disposals and taken to the landfills while we have thousand of hungry people that would love to have it but can't get it. Think about this and the next time you want to throw something away or dispose of it make sure your neighbors don't want it, can't wear it or can't eat it then you can rest better for your concern is economical, and practical.

why don't they explain about water evaporation tests all over the earth say
less sunlight is hitting our plant? the factsare global cooling. the earth expeienced the effects one hundred years ago!
