Conservative commentator and political activist Andrew Breitbart is dead at the age of 43.
FOX News Radio's Jared Halpern reports:
Bigjournalism.com, a website Andrew Breitbart launched in an effort to counter the mainstream media, announced his death this morning.
(Breitbart) "This is my war cry for 2012. You need to join me in this war against the institutional left."
Breitbart most recently rallying Conservatives at last month's CPAC conference.
The 43-year-old publisher and pundit died of natural causes at an LA hospital.
Breitbart's investigations were often controversial breaking the scandal that led to Congressman Anthony Weiner's resignation.
But he also was criticiszed for publishing out of context comments made by former Agriculture Department Official Shirley Sherrod.
