It’s been a popular fitness tracker for a while now, the Fitbit and it seems there’s a new one on it’s way.

    FOX’s Brett Larson reports:

It’s been a popular fitness tracker for a while now, the Fitbit and it seems there’s a new one on it’s way.

The new device, the Fitbit Alta HR is the fourth Fitbit in the in the company line up to include a heart rate sensor and the company says they’ve been at work on the new device for almost a year.

The new HR has a heart rate sensor, touch sensitive OLED display and a five day battery life. That will let you do something Fitbit says is the most requested by customers: continuous heart rate tracking, including when you’re sleeping.

Tracking your sleeping, helped by sleep stages and sleep insights which will not only tell you how long you were out, but also if you were restless, your heart rate and your sleep stages. All that should give you the ability to track sleep patterns and how they effect your overall day.

The new fitness tracker is available for pre-order now.
