Mr. Trump: ‘You’re Not Forgotten Anymore’

President-elect Donald Trump thanked his supporters for standing behind him on the 18-month journey that brought him to the White House during the ”Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration” on Thursday.

FOX’s Malini Wilkes reports from Washington:

President-elect Donald Trump sounding wistful at times as he spoke to an audience of supporters gathered for a welcome concert on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial:

(President-elect Trump) “On the campaign, I called it, the forgotten man and the forgotten woman. Well, you’re not forgotten anymore. That I can tell you.”

Mr. Trump promised to “Make America Great Again” for all Americans.

As the sun set on the National Mall, country stars Lee Greenwood and Toby Keith entertained a crowd. The President-elect ended the evening attending a candle-light dinner for major donors at Washington’s Union Station.
