New Polls Show President-elect Trump’s Approval Ratings are Low
President-elect Donald Trump will start off his presidency with low approval ratings.
FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:
A new CNN poll shows that Donald Trump will become President with an approval rating of just 40%, that’s more than 20 points below those for any of his three most recent predecessors.
The poll also found that about 53% say Mr. Trump’s statements and actions since Election Day have made them less confident in his ability to handle the presidency.
Separately, a new ABC News-Washington Post poll found 52% see Mr. Trump as unqualified. Mr. Trump in a tweet this morning said the same people who did the phony election polls, and were so wrong, are now doing approval rating polls. Mr. Trump continued…. They are rigged just like before.
