Ohio was Key for President-Elect Donald Trump

The Buckeye State of Ohio came out in force for Donald Trump and was one of the many battleground states which went for the newly President-Elect.

FOX’s Jeff Monosso has more from Columbus:

Donald Trump stuns by winning his battleground state and it’s 18 electoral votes with a difference of about a half million ballots casts with a strength in traditionally strong Democratic areas.

In the Northeast, the blue collar and steal counties worried about the nation’s economy. In fact, Donald Trump outperformed Mitt Romney in 2012 in 83 of 88 counties.

Exit polls also show that Trump won Union House holds in Ohio by five points. President Obama took that group by 23-points in 2012 in this must win state for Donald Trump’s path to the White House. Ohio Republican Rob Portman also retains his seat in the Senate.
