FOX’s Lisa Lacerra reports:
They’ve been a popular favorite at the breakfast table for decades:
(Kellogg’s Commercial) “L’eggo my Eggo, Eggo waffles from Kellogg’s, part of this nutritious breakfast.”
But Kellogg’s recalling about 10,000 cases of its Eggo nutri-grain whole wheat waffles because they could be contaminated by Listeria.
The Battle Creek, Michigan, based company saying it’s gotten no reports of illnesses, but learned about the possible contamination through routine tests.
The waffles available in 10-count packs with used by dates of November 21, 2017 and November 22, 2017, were sold in 25 states. Other Eggo waffle flavors and sizes are not being recalled.
