A serial killer put to death in Florida.

    FOX’s Rich Denison reports:

A former carnival worker convicted of killing three Tampa Bay-area women was executed in Florida Thursday night. Oscar Ray Bolin was executed for his conviction of killing 26-year-old Teri Matthews in 1986.

Matthews mother Kathleen Reeves attended the execution and spoke shortly after Bolin was pronounced dead.

(Reeves) “Perhaps now too, Teri will have her peace. We miss you so Teri, you were the sunshine in our lives and of many of your friends.”

Bolin was also convicted in the deaths of two other women. During his trial, Bolin and a woman on his defense team fell in love and were married on live TV a decade after the murders.
