Best Days To Book Cheap Holiday Travel

    Travelers should act fast to book cheap holiday airfare.

    In fact, this is the best week to book Christmas and New Years. Friday, October 9th — for Christmas. Saturday, October 10th for New Years.

    Orbitz says that its recommendations are based on past holidays. And it says people already are in line to find cheaper flights.

    Airfare, this season, is 9% lower than one year ago. But beware the only place for airfare is to go is up.
