Dover A Must-Win For NASCAR’s Kevin Harvick

It will be the last go around for a handful of drivers as the Chase gets down to 12 after Dover.

FOX News Radio’s Rich Denison gives you the lowdown in this week’s “Fox in the Fast Lane”:

Hurricane Joaquin could wreck havoc in Sunday’s race in Dover, Delaware as four drivers try to punch their ticket to the next round of “The Chase.”

Kevin Harvick must win if he wants to keep racing this season, but the driver of the No. 4 Chevrolet knows he has no control over the elements.

(Havick) “It’s definitely bad timing and we’ve been in these situations before at Dover with a hurricane several years ago and had to move the race a few days. So we’ll definitely keep an eye on it. I think the first thing is keep everybody safe.”

And there was one person who was happy to see Tony Stewart announce his retirement after next season… His replacement Clint Bowyer.

(Bowyer) “I’m glad that you decided to retire and open this seat up for me, but you know it’s all about people… it’s all about culture for me. And I think the fit-factor couldn’t be any better.”

Bowyer will take over Stewart’s No. 14 Chevy starting in 2017
