Sen. Brown: ‘It’s Almost Cool To Be A Republican’

Tuesday on “The Alan Colmes Show,” Alan spoke with former MA Senator Scott Brown about a wide variety of subjects, including the GOP run for the White House in 2016, Sen. Brown’s own political campaigns, and issues like the negotiations between the United States and Iran.

Sen. Brown told Alan why he agreed with the GOP Senators sending the letter to Iran, how he would have done better against Sen. Elizabeth Warren if he was supported by more conservatives, and who he sees becoming the GOP nominee for President in 2016, which included this exchange:

SEN BROWN: I believe between Walker, Rubio, Ted and Rand, it’s almost cool to be a Republican. They bring in a new breed.
COLMES: You didn’t say Jeb, I noticed, in that.
SEN. BROWN: Jeb’s a different type of Republican. He’s older, he’s more established, he’s part of the older establishment, I’m not saying that’s good or bad, I’m just pointing out that you have a new breed of Republican coming up who is trying to reach out to the traditional minority, you know, college and universities, you have Marco reaching out to a Hispanic vote that’s critically important, I think that Jeb can do that too.
