‘Boyhood’ Wins Big At BAFTA

Boyhood wins the big prize at Britain’s version of the Oscars.

FOX News Radio’s Simon Owen reports from London.

(Announcement) “And the BAFTA goes to Boyhood.”

The family drama filmed over 12 years winning Best Picture at the BAFTA Awards here in London. Boyhood’s Richard Linklater also winning Best Director.

The awards broadcast by the BBC — coming two weeks ahead of the Oscars — also recognizing as Best Actor…

(Announcement) “Eddie Redmayne.” 

Eddie Redmayne for his portrayal of cosmologist Steven Hawking in The Theory of Everything. A prize Redmayne also won at the Golden Globes.

(Redmayne) “This is one of the best nights of my life so thank you so much.”

Best Actress went to Julianne Moore for Still Alice.
