President Obama’s trip to the Lone Star State for fundraisers is being overshadowed by the border crisis.

FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington DC:

Republican Governor Rick Perry has been calling on President Obama to come to the border during his trip. Texas Democratic Congressman Henry Cuellar agrees with Perry and says the President might be approaching his “Katrina Moment”–

Cuellar: “He could get on Air Force One, be there in a half an hour and go see the border”.

The White House has said the President has no plans to visit the border, but he will have a meeting with Perry. The President has asked Congress for nearly four-billion dollars in aid to deal with the immigration crisis.
