Iraq: Ten Years On

    Mideast Iraq Today

It’s been a decade since the War in Iraq began and a new survey finds that many people are critical of it.

FOX News Radio’s Kerin McCue reports:

Was the War in Iraq worth it? On the ten year anniversary of the March invasion, a recent ABC/Washington Post poll finds just two-in-ten Americans believe the fighting has contributed to the security of America.

Hawaii Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who served, ponders the price that was paid.

(Gabbard) “What are the true costs of war? Seeing that on a daily basis and bringing that experience here to Congress.”

Arkansas’ Tom Cotton believes it’s still too early to pass judgement.

(Cotton) “It was worth it, but it’s also a little bit too soon to tell because there’s nothing ever certain in human affairs.”

Both lawmakers on “State of the Union”. The poll finding differences on the war settle along party lines, with a majority of Republicans supporting the effort compared to Democrats.
