Guns In America: Weapons Ban Hearing On Capitol Hill [VIDEO]

There was a hearing on Capitol Hill Wednesday taking up California Senator Dianne Feinstein’s proposed federal weapons ban.

In yesterday’s Senate hearing, a judiciary panel took up Senator Dianne Feinstein’s legislation to outlaw certain semiautomatic weapons and large magazines.

Like the kinds used to kill Neil Heslin’s son Jessie in Newtown in December. He testified.

(Heslin) “So-called assault weapons, that have certain characteristics should fall in that category and be banned.”

Feinstein’s bill would ban dozens of weapons which top ranking Republican Chuck Grassley testified is based on arbitrary distinctions that have nothing to do with the functions of the weapons and that would limit the rights of gun owners. The legislation faces stiff opposition from members of both parties.

    How about CRIMINAL control instead? Raise your kids right and you don't have these problems? The more gun control laws, the higher the crime rate.

    These criminals in government that have robbed the money from social security and committed other fraudulent crimes are getting caught and they are trying to disband the law abiding citizens that could rise up and hold them accountable! SOLUTION get rid of all corrupt government officials… senators and congressmen now limited to 8 years total! Every year finanacial audit on these crooks… all off shore accounts found owned by one of these criminals = lifetime of jail!!

    These corrupt officials have done everything to attack the constitution of the top 5 ammendments for the last 5 years! They refuse t uphold there oath of office!! THEY ALL NEED TO GO!!
