Housecall for Health: New Post-Meal Exercise Benefits
It’s still probably a bad idea to hop in the pool right after you eat, but taking a nice stroll can do you some really good.

A new study offers proof you should get moving after a meal. Research from Japan shows exercising after eating can reduce triglyceride levels in the blood. Study authors say even light physical activity – like taking a walk – an hour after a fatty meal can accelerate your metabolism and the body’s ability to burn fat, over time lowering the risk of heart disease.
