Israel Launches Airstrikes, Kills Hamas Commander In Gaza [VIDEO]

Israel has opened fire on militants in Gaza, launching airstrikes in retaliation for rockets.

FOX News Radio’s Emily Wither reports from Jerusalem:

After months of rocket fire from Gaza, Israel has launched Operation “Pillar of Defense”. It began with a pinpoint assassination on the top military commander for Hamas, Ahmed Jabari.

A series of airstrikes in Gaza city followed killing eight people, including two children. Israel says this is just the beginning:

(Regev) “We are now targeting in a surgical manner the Hamas military infrastructure.”

That’s the Israeli Prime Ministers spokesperson Mark Regev. The Palestinian President is calling for an urgent Arab League meeting.
