FOX News Radio’s Paul Stevens reports in our ongoing series on national security:

Securing America.

Thirty-one-year-old John Walker Lindh is already serving a 20-year sentence for conspiring with Afghanistan’s now-defunct Taliban government.  He’s now heading to court in a lawsuit over prison prayer.  At issue: How far officials can go to ensure security.

Lindh, set to testify in a case challenging limits placed on group prayer for Muslims housed in his unit at the Federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Those inmates are allowed group prayers once a week.  Lindh, saying that violates a Muslim requirement for daily group prayer.  Federal authorities argue that group prayer would be a security risk.
