The Truce is Broken: @EdWGillespie responds to @davidaxelrod

Today on Kilmeade and Friends, Brian Kilmeade asked Senior Romney Advisor Ed Gillespie if he was surprised by Axelrod’s tweet only 24 hours after President Obama visited the victims in Aurora, Colorado:

No, it is the Chicago way.  Brian, this is Chicago-style politics, this is all they know how to do.  They can’t run on President Obama’s record because it is so dismal and the American people are ready to turn the page and they want to try new leadership and new ideas and new approaches.  They have to try to distract every single day the best they can from their record.  I don’t think the American people are going to buy it.
