U.S. officials confirm that al Qaeda's second in command has been killed in Pakistan after a CIA drone hit its target.

A U.S. officials confirm that Abu Yahya al-Libi was among the victims of strikes by U.S. drones Monday in Pakistan. But one official not commenting is Pentagon spokesman Navy Captain John Kirby.
(Kirby) "We don't talk about the specifics of counter-terrorism operations, so I'm not going to be able to confirm those press reports."
Kirby does say al-Libi is a dangerous individual and the possiblity that he no longer walks the Earth is good news for everyone.
