Gay Marriage Issue In Obama Re-Election Campaign

The issue of gay marriage getting attention in the Obama campaign. Another high ranking administration official seems to break ranks with the President on the issue of gay marriage.

FOX News Radio’s Mike Majchrowitz reports from the White House:

Audio clip:

Education Secretary Arne Duncan in a television interview today announced he supports gay marriage and Sunday Vice President Biden said on NBC’s Meet the Press…

(Biden) “I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men women marrying women.”

These comments substantially different than the President’s. The President has stated repeatedly that he does not personally support gay marriage but he opposes measures like the Defense of Marriage Act that deny same sex couples the same rights.

Good. It's about time that gays and lesbians in the U.S. have the same right to marry the person that they love. Indeed, some of those denied this right have been together for decades, sometimes 40 years.

What's the big deal? If you love someone with all your heart and want to marry that person regardless of man or woman, then do it!!! Love is love no matter what. I love another man with all my heart and will marry him.

Fox Radio, including the radio news should always include the Obama campaign/Admin backtracking & rationalizing Commander McGaff's latest verbal guffaw. It could be on purpose, so they can throw another 'bone' to the GBLT community to get their votes.
