US Troops Condemned For Posing With Afghan Body Parts
Last month, it was the massacre of civilians. Now, the United States military is being charged with new abuses in Afghanistan.
FOX News Radio’s Alastair Wanklyn reports:
Audio clip:
The photos emerging of soldiers posing with the body parts of apparent suicide bombers, severed legs and a hand. That’s according to the “LA Times”, which identifies the soldiers as 82nd Airborne.
The U.S. Commander in Afghanistan says an investigation is underway.
Coalition Command in Kabul says there are rules for handling enemy remains, and this seems an error of judgment.
The U.S. Ambassador saying the soldiers dishonor all Americans who’ve served in Afghanistan.
Alastair Wanklyn, FOX News Radio.
There has been condemnation over the decision to publish the photos as well, from Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.
FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson reports from Washington:
Audio clip:
Strong U.S. reaction to both the photos and the decision by the “Los Angeles Times” to publish them. The pictures, from 2010, show U.S. soldiers posing with the bodies of suicide bombers in Afghanistan.
Our Ambassador to Kabul, Ryan Crocker, says those soldiers have put their colleagues in greater danger. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says the same about the “LA Times”, saying the pictures could be used to incite violence against U.S. and Afghan troops.
The “Times” says it’s the paper’s duty to report all aspects of the U.S. mission in Afghanistan.

The behavior of the U.S. military in the photographs is customary of America. It is easy to find on the internet photographs of White American adults and children posing with smiling faces next to Black people that they had just tortured, mutilated and lynched. These photographs were often used as postcards sent in the mail. Racist Whites used to have family picnics at the lynchings of hapless Blacks. So such macabre acts are the norm for devilish White people from the United Snakes of AmeriKKKa.

Bari, please take you foreign ass back to the Far East. The acts you comment about happened before I was born and things have changed. The last thing America needs is another Muslim Piss and
Moaner.

Of course they shouldn't have published these. The liberal media wants to turn our entire military into criminals based on the actions of a handful of idiots. Secondly, we, as a nation, have become so bloodthirsty and the media is feeding our appetite. Showing severed body parts at all is disgusting, regardless of the reasoning. They could have very easily reported on the incident without adding the images.
