Hockey Dad Faces Charges For Allegedly Pointing Laser at Rival Team [VIDEO]
A hockey dad near Boston is in big trouble with more than just police over how he allegedly disrupted a girls hockey game.
FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports from Boston:
Audio clip:
42-yr-old Joseph Cordes is accused of hiding in the stands of his daughter’s hockey tournament last week in Winthrop, and pulling out a laser pointer.
(Authority) “And he was aiming it in the direction of the goalie from the Medway girls hockey team.”
The goalie from his daughter’s opposing team.
School officials ordered Cordes out and called Winthrop police who’ve charged him with disturbing the peace.
(Authority) “I assume if there was, you know, serious injury involved, the charges might escalate higher.”
The opposing team lost the tournament match up. They want a do-over, but they wont get it.
Cordes tells local reporters he feels like a complete jerk who humiliated his daughter.
