Securing America: Two More American Troops Killed in Afghanistan

Two more U.S. soldiers were killed Thursday in Afghanistan by people they thought they could trust, the latest in growing anti-American protests in the country.

FOX News Radio’s Chris Hoenig reports in our ongoing series on national security:

It’s the third time in a week that American soldiers have been killed by their Afghan counterparts – security forces being trained by the Americans they turn on.

(Panetta) “Let me be very clear: the brutal attacks that we’ve seen over the last few days on our troops will not change and will not alter our commitment to get this job done.”

…Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.  The attacks have escalated along with anti-American protests since Korans were included with burning trash at the U.S. base at Bagram.
