Like Living In A Movie: “Field of Dreams” Sold

A piece of the Heartland made famous in the baseball movie “Field of Dreams” is off the market.

FOX News Radio’s Lisa Lacerra reports on the sale:

“If you build it, they will come”…or if you sell it, someone will buy it.  The eastern Iowa site made famous in the movie “Field of Dreams” has been sold.

The owners of the property near Dyersville announcing they have accepted an offer from a company called GoTheDistance Baseball, LLC, and the company saying they will preserve the site and develop a baseball and softball complex.  

Don and Becky Lansing had put the property on the market for $5.4 million in May of last year.  The actual purchase price was not disclosed.  The sale includes the two-bedroom house, baseball diamond, six other buildings and 183 acres made famous in the 1989 movie.
