FOX in the Fast Lane: Geico 400 (Chicago)

UPDATE: The Geico 400 has been postponed due to rain at Chicagoland Speedway.  Green flag is now set for 12pm ET Monday.

Let the Chase begin!  The Chicagoland Speedway takes the lead this year as the site of the first race in the 2011 Sprint Cup Chase for the Championship with the Geico 400, while NASCAR enters a clean and shiny new business venture.

FOX News Radio’s Marghiee “Trackside” Teshineh has this week’s “FOX in the Fast Lane”:

“WE HAVE OUR EYE ON CHICAGO AND READY TO GO THERE… AS READY AS WE CAN BE…I WISH WE HAD ANOTHER TWO MONTHS TO PREPARE FOR IT.”

KYLE BUSCH HEADS INTO CHICAGO FEELING GOOD ABOUT HIS CHANCES:

“I LIKE GOING TO CHICAGO IT’S BEEN A VERY REALLY TRACK FOR US IN THE TRUCKS, THE NATIONWIDE…YOU KNOW WE GOT TO GET OUR CUP STUFF A LITTLE BETTER THERE.”

AND DEFENDING CHAMP JIMMIE JOHNSON LOOKING TO WIN A RECORD SIXTH CONSECUTIVE CHAMPIONSHIP, DOESNT MIND STARTING THE CHASE IN A NEW TOWN:

“I’VE BEEN CLOSE TO VICTORY THERE A FEW TIMES WE’VE ALWAYS RUN WELL AND LED LAPS THERE AND I REALLY WANT TO WIN THERE.”
