Jeffress: Gov. Pence’s RFRA Explanations Are ‘A Sad Thing To See’
Wednesday on “The Alan Colmes Show,” Alan spoke with Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Dallas Texas, Dr. Robert Jeffress, about the ongoing controversy over Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Dr. Jeffress told Alan about how disappointed he was in Gov. Mike Pence’s “capitulation to the far-left,” calling it “a sad thing to see.”
Dr. Jeffress told Alan that if Gov. Pence can’t properly defend the RFRA the way it was written then “it’s not worth the piece of paper it’s written on.” They also discussed whether the free market will take care of the business who refuse to serve customers, how Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson is handling the same type of bill in his own state, and why Dr. Jeffress called Alan “one of the few honest liberals around.”
