About the paraplegic olympic athlete…
Nope. I wouldn't let him compete against people who don't have disabilities. He's disabled. Therefore, let him compete in the special olympics.
My big concern is this: What if he wins? What if, from now on, it becomes necessary to adorn yourself with some form of technology in order to compete on a world class level? If technology becomes a necessity, would some healthy but overly competitive runner intentionally amputate his own legs in order to compete? If it happened even once, wow, what a dark world it would become.
If he wants to compete, have him compete in the special olympics.
