Horror! The accused gunman who opened fire inside a Pittsburgh synagogue Saturday arrived in court Monday in a wheelchair. Meanwhile, prosecutors have begun the process to seek the death penalty in the anti-Semitic attack. Authorities say Robert Bowers, 46, stormed into the Tree of Life Congregation Synagogue in the affluent Squirrel Hill neighborhood shouting hate for Jews and killing worshipers in a 20-minute attack. Formally Charged! The man suspected of sending 14 pipe bombs to prominent Democrats and CNN around the country was formally charged in court Monday. Cesar Sayoc, 56, of Aventura, Florida, faces five federal charges and could receive up to 48 years in prison if convicted. Sayoc appeared Monday afternoon in the federal district court for the Southern District of Florida before a packed courtroom for a hearing that only lasted a few minutes.
