President Trump facing a storm of media criticism as Hurricane Florence makes its way to the East Coast. Many in the mainstream media and on the left using the monster storm to attack the president for how he is handling preparations, even before it makes landfall! They also cite his views on climate change and his comments about Puerto Rico to rail against the president.

Todd Starnes opened a recent program by saying there may even be some who are hoping for major damage in order for Democrats to gain traction in the midterm elections.

"I wonder if the folks over at CNN and MSNBC are hoping there is massive devastation in the Carolinas, that people lose their lives so they could use that to attack Donald Trump. Maybe deep down inside of their dark, dark souls, they really hope there is a lot of destruction, because that will give them an opportunity to attack Donald Trump," Starnes said.
